Yearly, almost 200 million tons of human waste goes untreated, contributing to a major global health crises. With a serious lack of funding and even less access to clean, running water, it is estimated that each year over a million children die of aids, malaria and tuberculosis.  With no effective solutions in site, human waste management is rapidly becoming one of the most serious threats to our society.
